Celebrating a Decade of Making Strides by Taking Strides!
Join us for our 11th annual HOPE 5K!! Offering a remote option (anywhere, any time between Friday, April 10th and Sunday, April 12th) as well as our in-person meet-up at 9:00am on Saturday, April 11th. Stroll, stride, or even sashay up a sweat; then recover back at the North Lakeside Pavilion with delicious beverages and bites; outdoor games (yes, this is your opportunity to take on Roger in corn hole!); awards to our top three finishers; and some well-deserved time to reconnect with your DHOH friends and fam.
For 11 years we've connected via our annual HOPE 5K to make an impact one step at a time.
Join us this year as a single participant, by rallying up or joining a team, or even going above and beyond with a sponsorship at one of our tiered levels!

Check in and grab your 2026 HOPE 5K t-shirt as early as 8:30am from the North Lakeside Pavilion at Memorial Park (7575 N. Picnic Lane), and join us after your run/walk for refreshments and recovery.

No problem! Simply register online with a "ticket" or sponsorship selection TODAY; complete your 5K anytime and anyWHERE between Friday, 04.10 & Sunday, 04.12; and submit your pics/5K times for prize eligibility!
IN-PERSON ROUTE
When: Saturday, April 11th - check-in begins at 8:30am
Why: To (re)connect in person with the DHOH FRamily (friends + family); and to run, walk, roll, skip, army crawl – whatever your choice may be! – in support of our current, former, and future AYA cancer fighters via the incredible refuge, oasis, and community that is DHOH
Where: Memorial Park's North Lakeside Pavilion

Note: Free street and lot parking is available, however may be limited. Please arrive with ample time to park. Please adhere to all parking and safety regulations.
8:30 am – 9:30 am: Check-in at DHOH to receive your 2026 5K t-shirt; suggested route paths; and to connect with other members of the DHOH Family
9:30 am: Our 2025 HOPE 5K begins, immediately following brief announcements
10:30 am – noon: Recover after your 5K back at the North Lakeside Pavilion with outdoor games; music; prizes and awards to our top 3 finishers; and seasonal beverages and bites!
VIRTUAL/REMOTE ROUTE
When: At any time of your convenience between Friday, April 10th and Sunday, April 12th
Why: To continue virtually connecting and supporting the global community served – either directly or indirectly – by Dan’s House of Hope, and that affects us all.
Where: Literally wherever you are!
