Please join the Bookstaff family in celebrating and memorializing the life of Evan Bookstaff. Evan lived life to the fullest, had a natural intellectual curiosity, and always experienced life's joys and obstacles with a great sense of humor and a positive attitude.
Words cannot begin to express how much Evan achieved in his shortened life. His accomplishments included scholastic awards, rapid career progression, and being a leader in his community. He loved his extensive travels, going to sporting events, and watching movies, sports, and TV shows. What he was most proud of and will be remembered for are the personal relationships he forged along the way.
Evan was first diagnosed in 2015 with a rare form of sarcoma cancer. He continued his battle throughout the rest of his life. While Evan never wanted to be defined by his illness or condition, he continuously demonstrated good humor and a positive attitude that inspired and will continue to inspire his family, friends, classmates, and colleagues.
Your gift to Dan's House of Hope in Evan's honor will help make a difference in the life of someone walking the same path he did by providing free housing while in Houston for treatments, and critical healing community and supportive programming.
